Introducing Aurora Chase
This week’s Student Spotlight shines a light on France-based mindfulness coach, Aurora, whose mission it is to help women reconnect with their inner power. Aurora is also passionate about sustainability and travel, and hosts women’s circles. She was a student in my Influence to Empire Mastermind and I am so excited to see her launch her new course soon! I know you’ll connect with her story and reminders to stay true to yourself.
Tell me your story. Why did you start your blog and/or Instagram?
I started my Instagram in 2015 as a way to express myself and connect with others. At the time I had a hard time finding my place in the world, I felt there was something bigger for me out there than following the traditional path that was being drawn for me. Fast forward to today what was back then a feeling, became not only my job but also my purpose in life, which is to help women reconnect with their inner power. I indeed remember that already as a child, I’ve always felt inspired by strong, independent, and driven women.
Tell me about your business and your “why”!
What lights me up is helping women realize how strong and special they are! Sometimes along the journey, the world might be testing and those challenges sometimes prevent us from living fully and living true to ourselves. My mission is to guide women through self-awareness, internal resources, and empowering practices towards a life where they are in control, in touch with their intuition, and feel confident thanks to their inner strength.
How did you discover Christina?
I discovered Christina a few years ago when her content was still 100% travel-related. At the time I just started my Instagram to share about my travels as well and was so inspired by Christina’s epic photos! Over the years my goals went from traveling the world to building and growing my own business and, Christina’s content shifted this way as well so I always related to her a lot.
Which course(s) of Christina’s have you taken, and what inspired you to enroll?
I’m enrolled in the Influence to Empire Mastermind, and I LOVE it so much that I’m actually re-joining for a second round! In 2018, I also took the Influencer Bootcamp course and when I heard about the Mastermind in January, I decided within 48 hours that I was in. It simply felt like the right thing my instinct was telling me to do to achieve my goal of growing my business. I remember starting the new year feeling disappointed at the progress I’ve made business-wise and decided that 2021 was going to be different. It’s only the middle of the year, but I’m so happy with the road I made and the difference being in the Mastermind did.
What 3 – 5 “lightbulb moments” did you have while taking the mastermind?
The level of support in the Mastermind is incredible so I’m having weekly “aha” moments but one of my biggest realizations has been the place of mindset in business. At the start of my business, I thought I was struggling because of secret techniques I was missing. And even though there are definitely good practices that are essentials, mindset actually plays a huge role.
An example of a specific mindset shift I went through is the relationship I have with numbers. I remember how stressed I was when I pivoted from the travel to the wellness niche because of the drop-down of engagement on my Instagram. My posts were less “visual” and my audience wasn’t used to me sharing that kind of content. But Christina helped me see numbers differently. Instead of judging my post regarding the number of likes it got, I now focus on the value I am bringing. That post could be the reason why someone is feeling understood, loved, or less alone and that’s what matters the most.
Another thing I discovered with the Mastermind is the impact that being surrounded by uplifting and like-minded people can make in an entrepreneurship journey. Having a group of women around you, who are here to guide you, support you, challenge you has the potential to skyrocket your productivity, confidence, and therefore your results.
What are the 2 – 3 most exciting things that have happened since completing the mastermind?
I gained so much confidence since the beginning of the Mastermind, confidence to talk to my audience, confidence in my abilities, confidence to voice my point of view, and also realize that everything I need to succeed is already within me. 6 months ago I lacked clarity on my brand and vision but now I’m actively working on a course that is aligned with my values and with my audience’s needs. Also, since the beginning of the Mastermind, I landed my first brand deal with a sustainable brand that I love! Before I only did gifted collaboration which helped me build a solid portfolio and with Christina’s help, I am now aware of my expertise and experience and I’m not afraid to monetize them.
What do you love most about the work you do?
It lights me up to witness women feeling so good with themselves that they are ready to conquer the world. Most of the women I’m working with are usually anxious for no particular reason, they feel like something is missing or not aligned in their life, and seeing them overcome their fears, build self-confidence and find purpose is such a gift
What’s next for you? What’s your next big goal or project?
I am launching my first ever meditation course InHer Power very soon! In this course, I teach women the fundamentals of meditation, how to design their own practice regarding their lifestyle, schedule & affinities, and how to show up for themselves. The course counts 10+ different guided meditation but it is in fact way more than just meditation, it is a tool for women to set a strong foundation for them to grow into the person they want to become and cultivate a deeper and more aligned connection with themselves.
What is your number one piece of advice for aspiring influencers or bloggers?
My number one advice would be to pay attention to what makes you truly happy and stick to it. Nowadays with social media, it’s easy to get caught up with everybody’s life and so feel pressured to do it all and to be it all. So make sure you stay true to yourself, do what you REALLY love doing, don’t compare yourself, surround yourself with people who motivate & uplift you, be proud of yourself, and have fun!
What are your favorite accounts to follow on Instagram? Favorite bloggers?
Christina and all of the ITE coaches are obviously favorites of mine! I also follow on a daily basis Jay Shetty (@jayshetty) & his wife Radhi Devlukia-Shetty (@radhidevlukia). I relate a lot to their view on life and they both have something with words that hits me all the time. Also, Radhi has the most uplifting & positive energy, it is so contagious!
I am also obsessed with Valeria Lipovetski (@valerialipovetski)! The way she is rocking being a mom of 3, a wife, a boss, and still making a point of honor to be herself and make herself a priority is very inspiring!
