4 Steps to Finding & Validating Your Course Topic

(So You Know It’ll Sell)

A proven 4-step method to finding a profitable course topic that your audience will pay good money for.

Union Fare ( link ) recently opened in the Flatiron area and it is everything a New Yorker could ever want.

I know this because I have been to Union Fare exactly 7 times in the past 2 weeks and, just yesterday, went twice.

Union Fare is a large, one-floor space that is divided by a wall. On one side is a gorgeous restaurant & bar area offering perfectly crafted cocktails, wine and delicious food. On the other, an expansive gastrohall.

Here’s the restaurant area, complete with thick wooden tables and hanging bare bulbs.

Union Fare Inside

I haven’t had the chance to broadly sample their restaurant’s menu, but can tell you that both of the items I ordered were delicious, leading me to believe that the rest of the food has got to be equally incredible.

Paired with some rosé, a friend of mine and I ordered the Ricotta Toast and a large Butcher’s Block.

Here’s the toast, slathered in delicious Ricotta cheese, freshly shaved black truffle, honey and bee pollen:

And the small Butcher’s Block, made up of prosciutto, salami, duck paté and brie cheese with a high pile of delicious bread, honeycomb and pickled vegetables.

On the other side of Union Fare is the gastrohall.

Here you can find a number of stands that individually specialize in offering salad, pizza, soups and charcuterie. There is a poké stand where you can order either from their menu of pre-designed poké bowls or create your own.

There’s also a bakery area where you can find the cream-stuffed croissants that have been the item of adoration by many an NYC food photographer recently. Flavors include Red Velvet, Birthday Cake, Matcha, Cookies & Cream…

Croissants

Like, just look at this:

And recently opened is the Smash Bar, where they create smashed toasts fresh in front of your eyes. There’s around 10 different varieties on the menu, including Ricotta & berries and spicy tuna & avocado.

Here’s the smashed avocado toast with cherry tomatoes, watermelon radish and Manchebo cheese. I wolfed this down in three minutes after taking this picture.

And one last thing. Downstairs, there is a fantastic neon sign. I’m such a sucker for florescent verbiage, so this completed the Union Fare experience for me.

Have any of you New York people been to Union Fare yet? Any cool restaurant openings in the city you think I should check out?
